Research Interests

Asteroseismology and Helioseismology the study of the interiors of stars through observation of their natural, resonant modes of oscillation. Implications for: solar and stellar evolution theory; solar and stellar variability; dynamo theory, convection theory, linkages between the solar interior and atmosphere, and the Sun-Earth connection; fundamental physics and cosmology.
